Hopefully this will thwart the selling on Ebay. If anyone does happen to see any of them being sold, please post here. I'd like to get to the bottom of it.

Have fun, Sue
Those shots are too cool. If I were ever that close to Stevie, I think I'd probably have a heart attack.

I probably had some mini strokes myself!

Can't believe I could keep the camera from shaking long enough to take the shots. I don't believe that little camera had a zoom either. I was probably standing about 10 feet away at most and there was no stage. They just played on the dance floor. Once in a lifetime experience. Sigh.

Oh, I wish I could remember, but I don't at all. I think it was a few songs and at least one was a Stevie song, but unfortunately I don't recall.

Definitely Tango time. Some time between April 1997 and October 1998. I can't remember if it was pre-Betty Ford or post, but around that time.

Sue
definetly post betty ford if its 87 or 88 which it looks like 87 or 88 to me.

ok I was at the Belly Up Tavern Zoo show in Solana Beach in SD county in June of 1987 and Stevie was there .These pics are exactly how she looked at that show including the sun glasses. I was getting pretty sloshed but I was a pro at drinking by 25 so I remember the show quite well or at least the first half .The band was introduced by Ally Sheedy only a slightly washed up actress at that time..Stevie came out after a few songs wearing the sunglasses and the first song that she did with them was World Turning her own songs that she performed were Rhiannon and Stand Back .She remained on the stage all night and as I got increasingly soused I recall that she did with the Zoo that song Well Alright off the Blind Faith album..I don't think it was an original song by that band though, and another song that had 'We're gonna break the rules tonight" in the lryrics..I can't remember any of the other song titles offhand but I do recall that she put on a great show and seemed really into it ..Even a notoriously anti-Nicks critic for the San Diego reader wrote that she"rocked with authority " high praise indeed considering the things he later wrote about her for the Tango show review at the Sports Arena and a scathing review of OSOTM..all in all a memorable night .I was so glad I was listening to KGB in SD that day and was tipped off that she was gonna be there by the DJ.

Great! Interesting that she looked exactly the same with sunglasses and all. Ally Sheedy was dating one of the guys in the band. Can't remember his name...Bob something?

Great Photos! But it looks like they were in someone's basement. How big was this place?

Wish she would do little club appearences like this once in awhile as it is a nicer way to see someone of her caliber. I know that admittance would be limited but it would just be so cool.

Stevie showed up w/ the Zoo at the Palomino twice. I was living in LA at the time - heard about the first appearance - kicked myself for not going - but I made sure to show up the second time The Zoo played there.

I moved back to Austin in December of 1987, so these pics must be before 1988. If they're from her 2nd appearance, then I was there! I was close to the wall, on the right side of the stage and didn't have a camera! I could dig through my old journals for the exact date.

Thanks so much for posting!

Those pics are amazing. I was going to say they look like they were playing a Knights of Columbus Hall or Elk's Lodge or something. The moldy ceiling tile is killing me. I can't even imagine being in a small club like that with Stevie just being ten feet away. I've seen most of her shows and have never gotten past nosebleed. Sigh

Oh, I was only there that once. I don't recall it being very big. It's a legendary place where a lot of people played - mostly country, I think.

Since I had seen Stevie with them at another club, I started the night right at the front hoping she would show up again. Lucky me. I wouldn't usually have a camera for the right moment

That's so cool Livia. I was only living out there for about 6 months. I don't know if it was the 1st or the 2nd. That would have been neat if we were both there at the same show. I kept a journal here and there, but there was a LOT going on at the time and I was stoned most of it. lol.

Hey, maybe you can help me remember...before then, maybe in March of 1987, she showed up at another club with them. This place was regularly a dance club. In the Valley, I believe. I can't remember the name of the club and would love to know. That was the night when Bob Segar, Dave Mason, Gary Busey, and Roy Orbison also played with them. Do you know the name of that club?

Sue -- hoping you do
