Yeah, I mean...they take your four grand and then stab you in the back. But, I'm a "nobody" ...so my business must not matter much to them.

Just an update...got a lawyer...he's sending a certified letter that they have 5 business days to respond to requesting a refund...!

I HATE doing this. I really do, but they've left me no choice. The lawyer told me that according to the emails, they promised the guitar the 2nd time around within 10 business days...so that opens them up to being sued for deceptive business practices, which means they'd have to fly all the way to Orlando to show up in court AND they'd have to pay my attorney fees. Hopefully it won't get to that point...and they'll just refund the money.

The really crappy part is that...the Model 1 is my dream guitar...and I finally had the chance to have one. And the very guy that builds them has treated me this way...so it really, REALLY sucks.

On an interesting side note, according to the lawyer, Rick's full name is actually Warwick Turner.

I've heard nothing but bad things in regards to Rick Turner's business practices from various Ledgies. I'm sorry you are having to deal with this. Hope you get your refund quickly.

I'm glad you got a lawyer. I imagine it does really suck to be treated that way. Your story makes me glad I spent $$$ on my Gibson SJ-200.
