I submit, there has never been a more beautiful or strange or masterful live harmony then this one. No one before, since, or ever, could have made up or sung this harmony like she did. It's completely unique.

The harmony here is so sublime it makes me weep. WEEP, I tells ya!!!

Anyone can make up a regular harmony, and record it nicely in a studio. You can tell a real singer when they do one LIVE that is almost beyond comprehension.

The download worked for me, let me know if there is a problem.

Hope I didn't oversell this, but I don't think you COULD oversell this performance.
I can't get this to open. Do you have it in MP3?

I like INSIDER, too. But I don't understand Amber's view that it's a new or ad-libbed harmony.

Also, there's an old Tom Petty Innerview with Jim Ladd from 1981 or 1982 with discussion about how Tom told Stevie to sing the melody but she couldn't stay on the melody -- she just naturally went to the harmony. After Tom & Jimmy heard the rough track, they got really turned on by it & decided to keep Stevie on harmony.

I still think "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You" from Red Rocks was the best ever live recording of this song. I love the spoken part at the end "..and when they ask her about the men in her life she says as difficult as it has been... they are poets".

And I giggle every single time during the bridge when she looks at her backup singers and then points to one of the musicians and says "sing for him". When the album version is on I always say that and nobody I'm with ever gets it. But it still tickles me pink.

And, am I alone in my live of the Fleetwood Mac Live 1980 version of Landslide. Stevie sounds so timid and strained yet more emotional here than on any other recording. This one wins every time, second only from that incredible orchestral version from Crystal Visions.
