Very good April Fools joke. As I read it, I was like "come on" Stevie never really gets that detailed in one interview. We have always had to piece things together to get a glimpse of what she is planning.

Man, we probably won't even see the autobiography til she is 75

And I really could not see her going against Caesar's Palace to go to the Wynn.
She owes a lot to Caesar's I think for that type of exposure between Elton John and Celine Dion shows when there was space on the event calendar.

Good try though.

Yeah, these roll out every year around this time.

Someone posts an "article" giving the fans just about everything they could possibly want, thus tipping off the wise reader that it is, once again, April 1.

Except, that it isn't.

True. Which, I think, makes the initial poster quite unfair in his/her April Fools pranking. I cry foul.

If it wasn't for that wacky name of the writer, i would have still believed it.

It's a total fake article. When you click on the link it takes you to outlook express. I think this thread should be deleted.

There aren't nearly enough 'well...'s in those quotes. That's what truly gives it away.

If Al Chapman wrote it, he did an excellent job. It totally sounded like Stevie. I've known Al for several years, & this just makes me admire his acumen & skill all the more.

Exactly. Not to mention that in all those details, for once there's nothing about her lovelife in the Rumours days, her lost Klonopin years, how much she pines for Chris's company, how much she loves being a rock mentor, or what house she's living in this week. Doesn't ring true.
But actually I think "Always Been a Storm" is a nice touch - every few years she drops in a slightly altered title, such as "Gold AND Braid" and "If Anyone Falls in Love". Plus it's just like her to present yet another show with Vanessa Carlton as a new thing.

Here's the link to that part of what Stevie said, that I saw, and what you said Stevie said surely was not a part of that!

No, I was referring to the KLOS interview she did in 2005 a few months before her first set of Vegas shows. She mentioned "Always Been a Storm" as a song she always wanted to do onstage.

Like Jake said, it's cool when Stevie drops a slightly altered title. I suspect her producers changed her original titles, as Stevie has never been known for her brevity.

The thought of Adam Levine producing an entire Nicks album truly made me cringe..Jack White is another story..but I don't know that he idolizes her like he does Loretta Lynn or that Stevie wouldn't totally let herself go with it the way Loretta did.

Could've been worse, could've been Ian Levine.

Could've been better, could've been Keith Levene.
