If they float your body is processing your fat intake (fat floats), if they sink it means either you have little to no fat in your diet or your body is retaining the fat.

I never had a problem until I started eating healthier, to be honest.

I am now prone to constipation. Increased fiber can actually bind you up if you don't also increase your fluid intake, but I drink copious amounts of water each day so I don't know what the deal is. I've started taking a stool softener (NOT a laxative) 2 - 3 times a week & that has helped immensely. I typically go every other day (every third at most) and it's solid but not hard.

Liam - I know it sucks to go in a public bathroom, but if you gotta go, you gotta go! Seriously, if you hold it your large intestine keeps absorbing water from your feces, which can cause it to become harder, which makes it more difficult to expel, which causes it to back up, which can lead to impaction. Buy some toilet seat covers or something.
