this have kind of a mystic look. My camera started to fail and the film didn't run right when I changed the number (an old camera), so photos started to overlap!! This was half overlapped and I appeared like a ghost at the left.

Villavic -- your photos are so interesting! They take my breath away! To imagine something as old as the Inca Palace, is mind boggling. I am fascinated.

Thank you so much for posting them! I plan to show all my office mates at lunch tomorrow.

Wow great photos. Do you have any more?

Of course.. well this is our landmark.. Machu Picchu, our pride and wonder of the world. I visited it this year TWICE!!

And this is Paron lake, in the same valley where Huascaran mountain is located, but this is another snowy mountain, can't remember the name,, but all that valley (named Huaylas alley) is called the peruvian Switzerland, you may guess why..

I really need to visit.

Too beautiful. I want to see these things in person. I really can't believe how blue that water is.... it looks like blue kool-aid. The perfect shade of blue.

Default And Now The Jungle

Peru has mountains, coast, snow, jungle,, is great!!! (well what we don't have enough is money ha haaa!)

these were taken at Iquitos, the main city near Amazonas river. I wanted to go not to the typical tourist circuit they take you, where the jungle natives are in customs but it's more like a tourists show.

So i met these guys that take me to the beach at a river where the authentic people enjoy the day..

the beach is at other side of the river so you have to take the boat.. I did it like every other guy from Iquitos, it was exciting and fun, you see their true (current) traditions, taste their typical drink, music, etc..

the beach:

it was cloudy but believe me, it was REALLY HOT. I had to drink lot of beers!! I got drunk and happy!! (btw.. sex is really open there, too)

Btw,, the river is Nanay river, not Amazonas, Nanay is a thinner river that ends at the Amazonas river..

Default Astronomy pics

And here's some astronomy pics, in case anyone likes astronomy. More to wonder about!

Saturn:

Ganymede (a moon of Jupiter) -

Titan (a moon of Saturn, I believe)

Phobos - A moon of Mars

Mercury

Pluto

(It's FAR, far away, so it's hard for them to get a good picture. I think maybe it's 9 billion miles.)

The Horsehead Nebula - This is a "giant star factory." They think maybe it doesn't exist any more, which is kinda earth-shattering when you think about it -
