f*ck those a-holes!!! Wait, no...grandparents...are good... I've noticed that grandparents rarely think the same things as grandkids. Or parents. They're still cool, though, cause they love you.
I'm glad you had someone else to tell. I think the older generation ate pets to survive during the depression, or something. Different perspective.

I recall fondly my grandma's diatribe about Will n Grace, and how her best friend in highschool was gay, but they didn't have to talk about it all the time, and why do people on TV (Will n Grace) have to talk about it?! Can't people just be gay without so much discussion on TV?! Do they have to throw it in our faces?!

over the last several years, i've toned down my anger quite a bit. i do have to say that i would probably come close to killing someone if they messed with my dog lily, though. i mean, yeah, part of me feels a little bad for saying that, but it's the truth. and then i'd just be sitting in jail, kind of satisfied knowing that the person that killed my dog got ****ed up.. and that i was the one who did it. ugh, i feel all knotted up inside just thinking about it.

people who mess with animals are on the very top of my **** list. it's one thing to screw with people, because humans are kind of assholish anyway, and usually those crimes go punished. but innocent animals? man, that takes a real beast. and people who hunt for sport are up there too.. oh yeah, sure does take a lot of sport to bring down a deer with a thirty ought six from 150 yards, big man.

I go mental when I hear about animals or children being hurt.

This won't make anyone feel better about the human race I don't think but for the fact that these bastards have been identified. Thom, the youngun I last dated, was severely beaten on Fri and put in the hospital. The good news he is okay and is being discharged today. It was a case of mistaken identity and the guys who beat him are screwed. The cops know who they are as do others who they'd I'm sure rather not knew.

They jumped him leaving a bar and beat him with bottles and stomped on his head. I can't believe anyone would do something like this. He needs his eye socket rebuilt (left brow) and his jaw was broken in multiple places and is wired shut and set to heal. He looks pretty bad with two black eyes and a few stitched up gashes but honestly he looked better than I thought he would.

The good news is he is okay and healing. I hope justice is served. And I hope Thom owns that bar and then some after this.

On a good kitty note, my roommate took in her late uncle's cat Rambo. He was in a shelter for about 2 weeks but no one else could take him. She was concerned about Mufasa but wound up taking him in. After 2 weeks of keeping them separated we introduced them and they seem to be getting along for the most part.

I have rescued many an animal...and it is truly sickening what some people do to them and often the lack of care given. Once I even found a box of abandoned kittens in a park with one of them having his ambilicle cord growing into the ground like a weed of grass looking for nutrients while his sister stumbled about with her eye sliced wide open. The little boy died that night. The vet saved the girl and I bottle fed them all until I found each a good home. Some people are sick heartless bastards. Michelle...I hope you are feeling a little better today.

I love my animals, though they have caused me to lose what sanity I still had years ago.

On July 3,2005 a stray cat named "Girl" (A bob-cat/calico mix) gave birth to 4 kittens - were still-born but the other 2 were alive, but Girl suffered a massive hemmorage during the births and slowly passed away.

I called the vet to ask advice about the 2 kittens, I just could not let them slip away - so after purchasing a kitten feed bottle and some liquid kitten formula I set to task to make sure these 2 kittens survived. I bottle fed my 2 babies (Missy Gail - a black calico and her baby bro Rufus) every 3 hours around the clock for nearly 3 weeks (Had nothing better to do since I was then very ill from the arachnoid cyst).

Missy & Rufus slowly gained weight (I have a small food scale to weigh 'em) until our mother cat Patches (The World Infamous "Crack Ho Calico") 'snatched' Missy from my hands, just hours before she gave birth to her second litter of kittens. Patches took in Missy & Rufus and the rest is history (Sadly I had to have Rufus put down due to a disease he developed were his stomach/lungs would constantly fill with liquid - I cried all damn day long over his lost)

Missy is STILL my spoiled 'child' - She loves her "Momma-Daddy'
