...shiraz - so you're on the Australian stuff then (maybe Chilean)? - and after the cricket?

.......I'm getting used to the Californian wine. They seem here, to not like the fact that I put ice in red wine. I'm paying so what's the problem? Anyway to prevent offence I ask for a glass of iced water and when they aren't looking I put the ice in the wine .

LOL! I must admit I drink my red wine chilled! And everyone tells me how weird I am for doing that. So I can totally understand the ice!

And I might as well look completely stupid but I just checked the bottle of wine (that I have poslished off alone..) and it's actually not a Shiraz! It's a Californian Cabernet Merlot!

Don't worry, American wine isn't very strong! Though given the way you have spelt 'polished' maybe it is!

Yes I put ice in all drinks except tea which has to be drunk hot. Some red wines that have lots of tannin, tastes pretty bad cold, but you'd be surprised how much better most are.

Absolutley! I've never really understood what all this iced tea business was all about!

If authentic, the gyoza has cabbage in it. Cabbage, along with celery and mushrooms are the foods of the devil so disgusting!

Rather you than me - I hope you enjoy. I'd drink the vodka tonic though.
