Funny, I broke the tie

I think we are expecting/wanting too much. I only really follow one other artist (Tom Petty) this closely. I noticed that when he toured EVERY summer, he really didn't do anything new. When he either a) didn't tour for a while or b) shortened the lengths of his tours, he got work done, and we have a new album now.

I only expect artists to do 1 thing at a time - tour or record. Right now, she's touring. She'll get her kicks, have a blast, and then she'll have all that energy to start working on new stuff.
