i have this one, as well as the one he did of stevie, hanging in my living room. both were signed and numbered by bob masse. i actually like the poster of stevie better. for some reason the photographs he used in this one annoy me. it doesn't feel cohesive, at least in my view.

I can understand people not liking Bob Masse's work, for one thing it's pretty imitative of Alphonse Mucha and he has been doing the same thing over and over. What I admire most is the quality of the printing on the posters in person, the color schemes (which are along the lines of Maxfield Parrish, rather gaudy and either works for you or doesn't), and the lettering is often very inventive. It's pretty much a dated style from the psychedelic sixties and also a time when Art Nouveau was back in vogue. I prefer the real posters (or reprints of same) that are meant and were used as advertising for a show or shows.

My friend gave one to me for Christmas a few years ago, and I love it. It's easy to see why some people wouldn't dig it, though.

Question: She got it on eBay, and it's signed, but how do I know if it's authentic. I've always wondered...

I'm getting the Stevie one for Christmas. I think it's pretty... so what if he gave her red hair and droopy boobs?

It's by '60s psychedelic poster artist Bob Masse but it's of the 1975-on Rumours line-up! I think this is just boss! Nice traditional penguin in there too... Masse has done great new posters for Tori Amos and U2 in recent years as well.
just today at the Yukon, OK Hastings store selling for $10.00

Also for sale at the same store was a concert promo ad for a Stevie Nicks 1983 concert in Providence RI that was $8.

I was actually given it as a present so I have no idea where it comes from.
I can understand why some people don't like them, but I think they are very cool and retro looking.

I really like those awesome punk rock posters with the original artwork that gigposters.com sells though, so I guess the Bob Masse stuff sort of fits into that.

Not Fleetwood Mac but this is probably my most favourite concert poster ever
