I enjoy dancing so really anything. But pour some sugar on me. I always end up dancing to edge of 17 and second hand news.

Yeah, she's amazing live. I love seeing her. The Body Acoustic is really good, but I *cannot* stand Sarah McLachlan's whiny, mewling presence on TAT & Water's Edge. So. annoying. On the other hand, I think Shine is pretty much the greatest song ever.

Holy crap, I'm jealous! You got to be at that show? Awesome. I love how she goes out into the audience. We've been several feet away from one another a few times. I think her new album is due out in April/May.

Seriously, when that song comes on bitches gotta clear a path for me. I LOVE to dance to that song. A couple more that come to mind:

- Blue Monday, also by New Order

- a good chunk of Madonna's stuff

- Enjoy The Silence, Depeche Mode (oh big surprise)

- Electric Youth, Debbie Gibson (I totally know how to do the dance from that video )

Ha, that's so funny. I can remember being in the club and that song coming on. My girlfriends and I would make eye contact and head straight for the dance floor, no matter what we were doing. Heh.

well, these songs are clearly from different dance parties, and different eras in my life, but these are the ones that I can think of right now.

I sort of need James Brown to get in the mood to dance now, and then after that I can go for hours:

Get Up --James Brown
Atomic Dog -- George Clinton
Up for the Down Stroke -- Parliament
Love Rollercoster-- Ohio Players

*********
All in Black back in the 80's/90's:

A Daisy Chain 4 Satan -- My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult
This Corrosion -- Sisters of Mercy
Nemesis -- Shriekback
Spellbound-- Siouxsie and the Banshees
She's in Parties-- Bauhaus
Lucretia My Reflection --Sisters of Mercy
Christine -- Souxsie and The Banshees
