Carrie and Jazz, I wish nothing but a quck and safe return for your brothers. A really close friend of mine served for awhile, so I can understand what you are going through. Stay strong for them, and remember...the ledge loves you.

It isn't the Army or any other branch of service that is wrong. It is the recuiters who lie to the young men and women out there. Just tell the kids the truth about the Iraq war. The young people and their parents have to be involved in the process if they are thinking of enlisting. Take your time to figure out what job you want to do in the military and believe me, the recuiters will keep in touch with you even if you wait a year or more to make up your mind. Not all recuiters are evil. Alot of them are honest and do tell the truth and face tremendous pressure from higher-ups. It is very hard to NOT be a recuiter. It's a tough job and someone has to do it. Just like those that serve our country. If you want to live in a free country than you have to protect our country

i understand the "price of freedom" and all that bs. what i don't like is the army administration, the way they handle the dissemination of information, and the bull**** they sell the public. i have nothing but respect for the kids who are out there fighting and dying for our "freedom."
