I'm sick of the calling me on the god damn phone. That's what they do here. Although we don't have any really hot races like that Harold Ford race you have going down there so maybe that's whey there are less television commercials this season.

there's one here in Oklahoma I continually enjoy laughing at, The race for state treasurer.

The Republican candidate has an attack ad on the current Democratic treasurer where the basic math subtraction is incorrect:

$310 million
- $81 million
--------------
$228 million

Uh last time I looked 310-81=229 correct? Gee, do I want to elect an official who cannot do basic mathematics?


Wished E.Z.Million would have some ads for his run for office, with that name he could have some hilarious ads that poke fun at both the left & right.

Now this afternoon I've not only heard from both sides but one party was calling to make sure I was voting for them AND a Knoxville tv station called taking a poll.

I got a poll call at work the other day..which I thought was odd since I work at a NEWS radio station...and we're supposed to be disqualified from them...eh I took it anyway and answered the questions for myself

Tuesday...just one more day and it'll be Tuesday...other than me having to work all night I'm really hoping it gets here fast because I can't WAIT for the day to just end...

That said I'm STILL totally nervous about it

Just saw the dumbest TV political ad I have seen in many a year:

"When Democrat candidate for Lt.Governor Jari Askins was asked her opinion on gay marriage she replied she was 'tolerant'...

Jari Askin's, too liberal for Oklahoma"

WTF??? How is tolerant considered 'too liberal'???

We have a candidate here for Congress who said in regard to the issues of: Child Predators, The War, The economy and Gay Marriage - the most imporant of those is gay marriage

no surprise, betcha I know what party this candidate is a member of.

Speaking of candidates for Congress, how come the national Democrats arent supporting the Oklahoma candidates who are running against the Republicans (Going as far as to not even lending a helping hand for the only Oklahoma Democratic Congressman, Dan Boren of my hometown of Muskogee).

According to the Daily Oklahoman's Washington Bureau writer, the Democrats arent being supportive because Oklahoma doesnt have a US Senate seat up for election this year, and the Democratics challengers "have struggled to raise money to get their messages out to voters".

According to the same article Dr.David Hunter (Democrat-Running for the 5th District against Lt.Governor Mary Fallin) has only one fifth the amount that Fallin has spent (Fallin has spent $1.6 million), and that amount is from his own pockets.
