That's your opinion. Perhaps you're right......FM should've never tried to reinvent themselves. What a mistake to make. Had they never tried that, your Stevy would still be a waitress at the IHOP!

It's Fleetwood Mac, hell yes it's good. That's the thing about Fleetwood Mac, you can trust that the music will be good regardless of personnel. Sure, there might be a song or two on each album that doesn't strike your fancy, but overall, there's really no such thing as a "bad Fleetwood Mac album".

Or a cleaning lady.

And, Fleetwood Mac would've ended in May 1970.

I agree. OSOTM, although not her best, was a very good album IMO. I love Stevie solo more so than mac but I do love mac too. TISL and Bella Donna are my fav 2 albums ever made. I have pretty much everything released that Stevie/Mac have done since 1975. I love everything of Stevie's except RAL and 25% of Street Angel was abysmal. Time was a COMPLETE waste of money, energy and basically pretty crap. Everything else kicks ASS!

Hello fellow chiffonhead. I'm sort of a junior chiffonhead though lol. Time- NO!! STAY WELL CLEAR!! It is AWFUL!! 1. it's Stevie-less 2. Christine's songs are so unmemorable 3. Bekka Bramlett tries to impersonate Stevie at several places on the album 4. Did i mention it's Stevie-less?

It's a good album to listen to whilst doing housework i.e. you can hardly hear it cos of the vacuum lol. It's so same-ey. It just drones on and on and on it's one of those that you can't wait for it to end. The worst thing about it is the fact that I actually payed £8.99 for it about 3 or 4 years ago. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! RIP OFF!!

Its not an awful album - its pretty tidy, but its nothing exciting or new either

It has nothing to do with Fleetwood Mac reinventing themselves - but they went around it the wrong way. The album had no promotion, so what did they expect? For it to be a new defining moment for them

As far as I am personally concerned - replacing Stevie with Bekka was a big mistake. I don't believe Fleetwood Mac should ever have any other female members other than Christine & Stevie - I would feel the exact same way about "Time" if Stevie was involved and Christine was replaced with Bekka.

Just my opinion...

That's about as assinine as somebody saying that Fleetwood Mac should never have any other guitarists than Peter Green. And, that's just nuts.

Well, not really, its just a personal opinion and a guitarist is NEEDED in a band, another female singer is not. Tell me - would you have liked "Say You Will" if Fleetwood Mac had replaced Christine with another female? I know I would not have...

But again, Im just spouting off my opinion

EDIT: And about the Peter Green thing - there are plenty of people who think Fleetwood Mac were never any good once Peter Green jumped ship - you of all people should know that....

I can see why people would be pissed off. I mean, just look at the way Lindsey snuck up behind Peter, beat him over the head with a baseball bat, stole his guitar, and demanded to be in the band!

Not really ...ask Gary Wright; or Emerson, Lake & Palmer; or the Modern Jazz Quartet, or Thelonious Monk, or Miles Davis.
