i agree that there's a psychological component, but really, that woman cannot say, after cooking that entire box of spaghetti, that she thought that was one serving. i wouldn't be able to eat that much in 2 or 3 sittings, let alone 1!

No, I'm just saying like those chips you get out of a vending machine. Sometimes there is more than one serving in the package. If you eat an entire box of spaghetti not realizing that it is too much food that's really stupid.
