actually you're wrong. those are the people who are hurt the most.

I'm not saying david did anything wrong, by any means. people can do what they want. I was just saying steve was wrong about the people who were friends with him just being happy he was back when that's not the case. When someone, who you thought was your friend drops off the face of the earth for no apparent reason. Doesnt' answer your emails, or calls when the only thing you want is to make sure they are okay, no, you don't owe them anything. but it would be nice.

Which assumes that he had access to any of the above. I don't know what -if anything- happend, and I'm certainly not going to ask for or feel that I'm entitled to some type of explaination. That's David's business, not yours, not mine. Just enjoy that he's back.

I absolutely agree with you. It's not of my business, or anyone's who he doesnt' want it to be their business. it's just that everyone assumes i'm talking about "the community" is upset he never gave an explanation. I am SO happy david is back. The community would never be the same without him. He's one of the wittiest (dry humor that I love ) and knowledgeable members of the ledge. I would hate for him to leave, but if that's what he needs to do, i completely understand. Everyone has personal things they need to take care of.

But there were several members who were very concerned that something horrible had happened to him. After weeks of trying to figure out what was going on, he sent someone to basically say "yep. he's fine. go back to whatever you were doing" um. thanks for the half-assed attempt is what I'm sure they were thinking. but hey....like you said, it's really none of my business, so I'll drop it.

You are correct, Sir.
I recently received a very warm appreciation from David for welcoming him back to the board. No questions asked. He serves as a very valuable member
of the community.Guilt trips are never the answer.

creepy? please. for one thing, i wasn't even talking about myself. i was saying there are people out there who were hurt by what he did. it's great that david's back; i'm very glad he is. but it's lame that people got hurt.

and while we're on the topic of creepy, can we talk about your lindsey lindsey lindsey thread?
