the one I have so burned into my head is from After the Glitter Fades.....
"Even tho the lemonade's sometimes laced with limes, t'sallright...". I even have been known to sing it this way, when alone of course. |

Thanks God, mystery solved.
My dad thought she was saying "sand bags" in Stand Back on the radio when I was little. |

My ten year old thought the lyric in Dreams was "when the rain washes you, clean your nose".

I somehow made it make sense to me until I finally learned the real lyric and then it was, "Of course!"My friend thought that in Stand Back "Like a willow I can bend" was "Like a weirdo I can't dance" She was trying to learn the song and had written out the lyrics. I nearly peed when I saw that line.Someone once said they thought "Enchanted" was "aunt Janet". Oh that kills me. I know I used to get a bunch wrong but I can't think of them right now!

I thought that was "poly is interational". No, that isn't a mispell, that's exactly how I sang it, KNOWING it made no sense. |

I've done that exact same thing, where u know it doesnt make any sense but you gotta sing something. My mom always played Gypsy in the car when i was young and I would sing "like lis-drives, maybe once maybe twice" and "to a room with sownlays and vapor flowers"
