Total sales. 100k or there abouts, with 70k inside the US. The first week will be no more than 30k, and 20k the next week....

Why? Because, unlike most other groups, Fleetwood Mac had one of the biggest selling albums of all time. They can't have it both ways. They can't play major chunks of "Rumours" in their concerts (in other words, play into the album's success) and not expect people to use that as the measuring stick for all of their subsequent work.

Obviously people are going to compare the sales to their biggest successes, but why do we care, the fans? That's what I'm asking. As long as the music is good, the sales figures don't interest me. And the record company certainly aren't expecting this to match Rumours, rather his previous solo releases, so I can't see them dropping him if it doesn't sell millions.

Plus look at any big selling act: the Rolling Stones, The Who etc. Rarely do members of big bands like that have solo careers that in any way match the success of their bands.

I think that if Stevie released a whole new album, she could do a power sale. Not a best of, but a NEW album also she could doa full arena tour...I think she can...Lindsey on the other hand...sadly...not so much...maybe if they did like a Buckingham Nicks tour the sales would be good...maybe they could have special guests with them like Mick and John
