"I verily made it".
This drives me completely f*cking nuts!!!
The word is BARELY, you dumb hick!!!! Of course I don't tell them that, but they INSTANTLY go into the mental midget category, on the Rolodex that I keep in my head.
Irishgirl, why'd you type verily??? Enquiring (bored) minds want to know!
because David wrote forsooth of course! and I didnt mean "barely". Im not a redneck, tho I find redneck humor funny no, the definition you posted ( in truth; beyond doubt or question) is what I meant.

Whew. I didn't think you were a redneck, and honestly, didn't know the REAL word existed. I wonder if rednecks type it, since they say it?
Wait, do rednecks even type?

And we still laugh when we get to see our sisters naked!

Do you know how you can tell a virgin girl from Kentucky?

She's the one who can out run her brothers!

A looong, looong time ago, in a land far away.
I've heard the rednecks abuse this word for so long, I've developed some sort of internal "aural blocking" technology, when I hear it! I literally cringe when I hear it.

Seriously, Bloomington is a great town. An oasis. Go 30 miles in any direction, and it's scary! "We don't need no stinkin' teeth!

Kathy or Kathleen Matthies. I just got in touch with her a few years ago, she was one of the greatest teacher's I've ever had- I think she works at a University now.

Wow...yeah, I'm sort of generally frightened of the mid-west

Nah, don't know her. Looked on the IU site, it lists her as being on the Indianapolis campus, but lists a Bloomington phone # for her office.
I can PM you her #, if you happen to want it.

The rural midwest doesn't have any worse than getting into the bad neighborhoods in a city. Both can be very scary.
