I really don't remember that, and I thought I saw all the episodes. Does anyone remember what episode it was in?

The One With The Soap Opera Party
Episode Number: 214
Season Numer: 9
First Aired: Thursday April 24, 2003

Here's a summary of the episode: Joey doesn't tell the gang about his plans to throw a party on the roof of the building. He also hides the fact that he's invited the "Days of Our Lives" cast, since the girls embarrass him when they meet stars. Rachel discovers the truth about the party and soon, everybody knows (except for Chandler). Ross meets a new colleague and, instantly attracted to her, invites her to the party. Rachel and Monica go the party and act like crazed fans while Ross is intimidated by Charlie's former boyfriends. Meanwhile, Chandler is at a play alone. At the end of the party, Rachel is looking for Joey and Ross is looking for Charlie, and they find Joey and Charlie kissing.

"Thrown Down" is played while Rachel talks to Monica and looks for Joey. It's a good episode and I think the music is fitting. Chandler is hilarious!

I think they used You Make Loving Fun too. Or maybe I'm thinking of another movie...

Go Your Own Way was on an episode of Soprano's a couple of seasons back.
Landslide was on One Life to Live.

And Nightbird89, I think Against All Odds was the movie that Violet and Blue was on. Not sure though.

Bingo.

I thought we were listing songs not on soundtracks, but let's be complete:

Sleeping Angel was in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Touched by an Angel was in Sweet November

Yes it was. It would've made SUCH a better single release than bloody-Phil bloody-Collins "Against All-freakin'-odds"

...I don't like Phil Collins

The really great song on that soundtrack was Peter Gabriel's "Walk Through the Fire."

Peacekeeper was featured at the end of an episode of Third Watch and wasn't Leather and Lace featured at the end of an episode of Cold Case?

And yes Say You Will was used on TV ad's for promoting the time slot and date change for that 70's Show.
