They have a the Taste of MN every July as well, usually around the 4th with fireworks every night...the whole shebang. Not a bad way to spend an evening, and watching all of the fanny pack-clad Nordics wandering about with BBQ sauce on their chins is a sight to behold.

The best part is all of the free music. They usually get some pretty big names to play a show. Blondie was here on the Camp Funtime 2002 tour, and there have been others. I think Alice Cooper was here for this year's Taste.

I remember at the end of the Blondie show Debbie came out and did Heart Of Glass and it was pouring, but they kept on singing!

It was pouring during the last few songs, and she was soaked. She loved it though, and so did the crowd. I got a roll of good pics out of it too.

Ive actually never been to this, despite living so close to it. Every year I see footage of it on the news and say, amybe next year, but I never do

Good for you, you badass! I've managed to keep off the 7 lbs I've lost which is great. People I haven't seen for a long time keep telling me I look great. I must have really looked like crap the last time they saw me!

I've lost over 10 pounds and noone at work has said a thing. Then again I work with jealous, spiteful bitches

so it doesn't really surprise me.
