Willy makes me want to go get another one!

There is the most adorable pupster hanging around in the neighborhood of my place of employment. No one seems to know who the owner is, and I have seen her running the streets often. I have stopped three times to try to coax her to my vehicle but it has all been for not. She appears to be afraid of adults as a child was able to hold her, but when I approached she struggled to get away. I told the child to let her go as I did not want the child to be hurt in any way. I'm terrified something will happen to her if she doesn't come to my home for love. I will try again this evening. Wish me luck! My Shelly girl needs a buddy and this pup would be perfect for her as, although she is afraid, she appears to be very loving.

Thanks, everyone. Part of me thought it was too soon after Cosmo dying. but then I realized that I didn't go out & look for a cat to buy, I didn't ask people to keep their eyes (teehee) open for a black & white kitten - a one eyed kitty needed a home & we were happy to help.

Nice pussy! Congrats. He is so cute. He does look like Cosmo. You will have a blast with him. Kittens are so much fun. Did you get him a scratching post? Very important. I gave my kitties treats when they were first learning to use it and even now, I still put their treat on top of it. They have never scratched anything in my house (that I know of

) which is great because I was not going to get them declawed. Enjoy him, they grow so fast. I'm so happy for you!

Of course we have a scratching post, do you think we're amateurs or something?

Seriously, our other cat isn't declawed so this one won't be either.

Congrats and I love the name! Perfect! He will be eternally grateful and give you lots of love! I've often said that strays make the best pets...it's like they know you are rescuing them...

I am SO not ready yet for another kitty...I never wanted a cat in the first place, he adopted me.

So, if and when I'm meant to have another one, it will have to happen the same way. One of the neighbor's cats visits me often, he's a little slut, can't get enough attention. I think his name is Kookaroo? At least I thought that's what the lady said - she lives 2 houses down and we were talking across the yards and driveways. She's got several cats and she calls them all in for feeding time.
