It was nice to meet you Jason. Although it was brief you seem like a real sweetie. We spent much of our time downstairs. Loved loved loved being in a venue where they played Stevie all night long. Where else would we get to hear deep album cuts? However, the skipping of the tracks was too much. They needed to clean their CD player. But I did manage to hear some of your performance. To be honest, I really thought I had missed it. A friend of mine and I were looking for another friend who got lost in the crowd so I was a bit distracted, but I felt your energy. The crowd really loved it. Good job boo!

thanks. I'm sorry I couldn't spend more time with you and the other great peeps I met...I was so rushed to do this and do that, it was just a whirlwind, but it was great to finally see you after all these years. maybe next time I won't be so rushed. and I'm glad you didn't miss my show entirely. I was thinking about all my ledgies while I was performing.

oh, and the skipping...yeah, I couldn't take it. that was crazy...I thought, oh this is a remix...then I was like, oh nope...their **** is just messed up.

lol. I'm sorry. they are still on my camera. I didn't get in until 10:30 last night and didn't have time to load them up yet. I promise to do that as soon as I get home tonight.

nope, but the 2 Lindsey's wanted pictures with me. they were Tusk Lindsey and Rumours Lindsey and they wanted to re-create the album covers. lol. they were so much fun.

I think I missed the Tusk Lindsey, but the Rumours Lindsey was a babe. Sodascouts has some pictures of him and his Stevie that she had better post.

Wow, I am still on a high. I think all Stevie fans who are obsessed enough to be on this board need to go to NOTS. There is nothing better--aside from a real show, of course--than hanging with so many like-minded people in a place dedicated solely to celebrating our girl. Ya'll better get your asses there next year!

And Travis, are you the Travis from DC? My friend and I are from the DC area and were talking about how great it would be to have a Stevie night at one of the clubs around here so we'd have another opportunity to get decked out in our Stevie garb and dance the night away. I remember something being organized maybe 3 years ago or something that I didn't get to attend. I wonder if there's any chance of some sort of fan event happening again? There have got to be fans around here who would go...there are always at least a couple of Stevie's in the Drag Race each Halloween!

I think Travis hosted a Stevie night at a club on Halloween last year, if I'm not mistaken.

Chi Chi went on and then it was me...I went last in the first act. honestly, after I did the first 20 seconds of the performance I don't remember much else about it...I was on adrenaline I guess, but I could tell my voice was right on (she was having a good night, thank god) and that made me happy. when I hit the note in the middle I was like, damn, I did it. the crowd was so amazing...so into it. after my performance I got to meet a few Ledgies...BlackWidow, Sorceress and sodascouts, and Travis...very cool people and I'm so glad they came out to see the shows. I was walking around and everyone was stopping me saying how much they enjoyed it...I took a few pictures with some fans...met Michael Musto and tried to enjoy the other shows. Amber Garbo was amazing. then I got ready for the battle. Edge of 17 Battle was awesome...all the performers back on stage sharing the Stevie vibe with the audience. I had a blast and am so glad and honored I was able to be part of the show. Chi Chi mentioned another event coming up, but I don't know many details, but I'll keep you all informed. now, the bad news...the video didn't work...

I have a few pictures but no video. sorry. I think someone may have gotten video and I'm checking so there's still hope. I'll post what pics I have later tonight.

the rest of the trip was smooth sailing...ate at Lucky Cheng's - not all it's cracked up to be, imo

thanks to Chi Chi, Terri, Hattie, Abbie, Diana and everyone who made the night so special. I really appreciate it.

am I forgetting anything? probably. I'll update it as I remember things.

Jason, sounds like you had a blast! Congratulations to you for having not only the nerve to carry it out, but to WORK IT in the process! I Can't Wait is a killer! I can't believe you hit all those notes, good for you. I hope you find video of your performance and you better get those photos up post haste!

I did have a blast. the funny thing is I was not the least bit nervous once I got to the club and that always happens to me...I'll spend a day or two almost doubled over with nerves, but once I get to the event, I'm cool. and hitting those notes, like you said, is killer...I kept kicking myself in the ass for choosing that song, but now I'm glad I did.

Welcome home Jazzy! I am thrilled your experience was everything you wished for. I know you have pictures so, for all that is right with the world, get posting!!!

I will be extremely disappointed if this event goes by without audio/video.

I hope someone steps up with something!

thanks Niki. I'll post what I have tonight. hopefully, I can track down some audio or video.

I forgot to mention that a portion of the proceeds from NOTS went to a charity...I'm embarassed that I can't remember the name of the charity, but it's worth mentioning that the organizers help out. if anyone knows the name of the charity, please advise. the event was sold out within minutes of the doors opening.
