For David/Me and Stevie/Improvapalooza

[amber]

Here's another. I love this demo a lot, I think it's beautiful and very heartfelt, and lyrically it's pretty good too. Simple and literal, but good. It contains a favorite phrase of mine, "You are not old, I am not wise".
Brilliant, I says!
Although I don't know it that well yet, as you will see. But that's why it's Improvapalooza.
It's a pretty simple vocal, though. Fun to sing.
Also, I'd like to hear theories about who this is about. I'm thinking Mick, but you know.

And here is the original by itself, in case someone doesn't have it, as I was shocked to find out Paula had never heard it...(I always think everyone else has everything I have, since I don't collect and stuff)

Also, I am waiting for Vanessa's cool menthol stylings...

ooo, ooo! And if anyone knows what she really says during the "ozzle dozzle sho" part I would be eternally grateful.

Yaye Amber! Can we start putting in requests now?

Only if you know the answer to "ozzle dozzle sho" (They say).

I found this copy of the lyrics on the 3 Birds of Rhiannon website.

Love You Enough (My Love is Never Lost), Polished Demo

You look at me
And I know you've not forgotten
Still make me laugh
In the laughter we were lost in
I still love you
But we cannot be in love
But when I see you
I just can't get enough
When I see you
I just can't get enough

I look at you
And I know you have not changed
Still in my dreams
And still they're all the same
And I had to let you
They say all the doors are shut
But in my heart
I will never give you up
In my heart
I will never give you up

Oh, I'll never be able to love you enough
Though my spirit lies deep inside your soul
No, my love can never be tended or be bought
And my love for you will never get old

I guess we try to close our eyes
Ooh, but we are not children...no we try
You are not old...I am not wise...
But when it was...it was fine...fine...
But when it was...it was fine

Oh, I'll never be able to love you enough
Though my spirit lies deep inside your soul
And my love can never be tended or be bought
And my love for you will never grow cold
Baby, never grow old

Oh, I'll never be able to love you enough
Though my spirit lies deep inside your soul
No, my love can never be tended or be bought
Oh, my love for you will never get old
Darlin', never grow cold
Darlin', never get old
No...no...

Sounds really great, amberica! But is there some way you can put Stevie's volume down while you make your recording so that your singing comes out more prominent in the mix? several of you guys have recorded cool stuff but with Stevie singing really loudly so I have trouble distinguishing the ledgie from the Stevie.
