It might be your Internet service provider restricting your up load useage....sometimes I can download something at 700kb's per second...but only upload at 5kb's per second...it might be something you could look in to??

Yes, if you torrent it, only about 1 percent of the people on this board will be able to hear it.

The file is so big (131 megs) probably because it's still a WAV (or uncompressed) file. You can download this free program, CDex (http://www.download.com/3000-2140-10226370.html), or any number of other free programs that will convert your WAV into an MP3. An MP3 is much smaller & you should be able to upload that on YouSendIt or one of the others.

In other words, you need to digitally compress the file.

Please do torrent it! There is a tutuorial at the top of the Chit Chat forum. If you torrent it, I will download it and rip it to mp3's and post it on yousendit for those of you unable to use bittorrent. This is what bittorent was made for.

I don't mind waiting for songs to download that are normal MB length, but for over 100 id have to leave the computer on all night!

I share your pain. I was on dial-up for ages ... Broadband has given me a whole new lease of life!

But it's a dreadful distraction when it comes to schoolwork ... it's always on ... it's right there ... it's so tempting, dammit!
