Awww, Amber. You're a big ol' softy!

Stevie's harmonies make me tear up a little, too, because they are just so beautiful and effortless. I could watch the Tusk Doc clip of her and Lindsey playing Angel at the piano over and over again. (And I sometimes do!) No one will ever have a voice like hers again.

You guys made me feel not quite so dorky. I'm still a little worried, as I burst into tears from reading all of your posts.

Brwn_eyes - I have the FM BTM behind the music on my puter, I'll try to upload it. I got it from Torrent, so I dunno how that works or whatever.

Janis- I forget sometimes that there are people younger than me who have even less time with the mac.

I know, there are many, many things I haven't seen on Youtube either - it's been wonderful. Never Forget - it actually kind of resembles Honey Hi, tunewise. And listen closely to the harmonies. subtle but gorgeous. Plus, Christine singing "just remember that love is go-o-o-old" is very beautiful.

BombaySapphire3 - That was a wonderful description. I guess we are lucky, but hearing it at all, even for such a short time period, then having it "taken away" kind of makes it more painful. But you are right, thank goodness it existed.

vermicious knid - I adore that interview snippet, too. If you ever locate the whole thing, let us know. I have had it memorized for awhile, and in my head I call it "the perfect feathered hair interview".

Jannie - thank you for your kind words. It's nice you know how I feel. It's also wonderful that you got to have so much Stevie in your life. I often wonder if I would be mourning less or more if I had gotten to know her earlier. Sometimes I think more. hahaha, I thought she had "Amber radar" during the Edge walk, too, but you've given me hope.

Jazmen - I figured you would get it. That's so sweet Stevie came back. I was in front of her monitor during SYW - I swear she hit everyone's hand but mine.

It was okay, though - I almost died from excitement that night to hear them all sing together for the first front row time. I still tear up thinking about the unequaled beauty of when Lindsey comes in for harmony on BC. Cried every time.

Catinthedark - you do know exactly what I mean.

It's funny, I was going to put in my post "and I'm sad I'll never talk to Stevie or any of them" and then you said it.

isn't it...that's why I am hellbent to defend Stevie to the end no matter what - because she did that for me...

I mean, she was leaving the stage and remembered me - it's almost like she had made up her mind to shake my hand and almost forgot, you know. *le sigh*

maybe it was the flood of tears for the entire show as I sat directly under her - no joke

or maybe it was the fact that I had on the moon and pyramid necklaces

my eyes are so poofy right now. I accidentally watched the insider video (It's my video on my myspace profile), and then went to watch the rest of the uncut stevie BTM. I'm dying. who knew someone had this many tears? why now? I hope I'm not having some horrible precognition.

I just sat and watched all of them. My mom watched them with me and we teared up together.

Stevie says on another interview that I watched thanks to youtube that that period, between late sixties and 1980 - was just magical all around, no aids, the state of rock and roll and the culture was magnificent, if you were in rock and roll it was like never having to grow up, etc. - I think i'm partially nostalgic for the seventies, that state of being as well. I've always been nostalgic for that time anyway, and when you add the loveliness of the Mac it's just too much too bear.

Yea. she said she would mail it to me, because the file is so large...but I can wait...

And yes I DO have the Rumours classic album DVD. I actually made some screen caps over in the "Through the Decades" thread in the Christine forum...I love that DVD!
