Get out!!! How about that intro by George and Barbara Bush? It never fails to make me laugh until my sides hurt. Or when Bugs Bunny says "joint"? And Simon says something like "I think it's marijuana"? Oh, it's a favorite possession of mine. I remember it used to be in the video stores as a free rental.

You know what I found when I moved a little while back? Old tapes of...Small Wonder! I watched an episode and was reminded of the time when saying "Gag me with a spoon" was considered uber cool. That show must have been shot on a budget of fifteen bucks, I swear.

I hated the trend of sitcom finales being so serious. ****, even "Full House" had the Olsen brat fall off a horse and break her back or some such crud.

In any event, I want to relive the Hogans on DVD or, at the very least, another syndication run.

Seriously! I've got a bunch of weird, retro stuff lying around that I refuse to get rid of/tape over. I'm never going to tape over this; it's just too hilarious. Funnier still, it's tacked on to the end of one of our home movies... Hint? lol. My brother would tape everything back then.

i vaguely remember Small Wonder, though. Practically every show had someone using the phrase "gag me with a spoon".

I am getting so verklempt thinking about all of this stuff.

Do you remember the Alice In Wonderland miniseries from, I don't know, '85? The one with Carol Channing? The Jabberwocky totally scared the piss out of me. Anyway, I found that one, too.

It was the show about the robot girl, Vicki!

My neighbor went as her for Halloween once. I went as He-Man, like, every year. Used to watch Small Wonder and Punky every morning before school.

And just so that I can end the night on a high note:

OMG, the Alice in Wonderland 80's mini-series! I thought it was sooooo great. That was around the same time they did the Ewok tv movies. I'm one of the very few people that has a fondness for Wickett.

Yeah! I think of it every time I see that episode of the Golden Girls, where Dorothy says to Sophia, "You've got Martha Raye and Madge mixed up again".
EVERYONE was in that show! That is so weird. I don't think we taped it. I hadn't even thought about it

Oh. My. God.

I used to LOVE that show!! When I was really little (like, before kindergarten) I would watch the reruns of that in the mornings. I thought it was "sooooo cool" that a family had a talking robot for a daughter. Of course, I also had an obsession with Kids Incorporated so there's no accounting for taste...

Ahh, the 80s. If time machines are ever invented, my first stop is 1984.

Wow. The He-Man thing was probably the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

Wow. Princess Toadstool and Mr. Belvedere....what more can you ask for?

I watched Valeries/Hogans family faithfully, and the episode I remember best was the fire one.

I once fed popcorn to my Teddy Ruxpin doll.

I don't remember him working much longer after that.

The cord from Teddy to Grumby never really worked. It was sad.

Small Wonder! My mother hated that kid, she used to say that her wink at the end of the intro looked like a facial tic. She HATED her, used to make fun of her all the time. Hilarious.

Remember Benson? Webster (Popodopolis)? Gimme a Break? Facts of Life (early years only, none of that crap with Clooney!) Too Close For Comfort? One Day At a Time?Ahh, the memories...

Do I have to bring up Haircut 100 and "Love Plus One"

Also, I LOVED the 80's and my Z28 and weight line haircut I had during them
