Zuh? At least in the US, The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac is a two-CD affair with 36 tracks, compared to the 16 tracks which comprised the single disc Greatest Hits from 1988. That's a difference of twenty songs.

And even the single-disc UK Very Best of has nine tracks that weren't on the UK Greatest Hits from '88 (which in turn has five tracks that didn't make it onto the new disc).

At any rate, a new Stevie Best of will at the very least be different in that it will surely include at least one track from Street Angel (Blue Denim?) and probably several from Trouble in Shangri-La (Every Day, Sorcerer, Planets of the Universe? maybe Fall From Grace?). Also, a new Best of would likely (hopefully) not include the three songs that were new on Timespace (which, by the way, Stevie, is a really ****ty name for an album, even a retrospective).

sorry you feel that way...I think it's a great name, but then I guess I would, wouldn't I?

I love hearing Stevie talk about it as your "space in time" -

Truly a brilliant etymology indeed.

I'm sure most us of question the idea that songs like Family Man, Skies the Limit, and No Questions Asked truly represent the "best" of Fleetwood Mac. Thank god they saved those songs for last, like horses in a parade.

I wonder what tosh they'll use to pad out Disc Two on this compilation?

Awwwwwww...

Let's all just move to Utah. Seems like a fair solution to me.

Has anyone heard anything or can anyone speculate about this? My assumption was she would release the album in late January/early February to get fans excited about the tour, and to get "the word out" so to speak, but I guess that isn't the plan... So everyone, let the ideas pour in.
It will be a greatest hits package plus TISL Releases..Maybe (Doubt it)..Street Angel releases....Doubt it..cuz Stevie has so divorced herself from that Album...
