The first season and last season were the only two I watched. I'll admit it- I love it.

Another season, another wonderful opportunity to. . .

Vote
For
The
Worst
!!!

That's right, the maddening craze that swept the nation is back for another year! During the initial auditions phase, the producers want you to be entertained by all the terrible performers. But then, in the finals, all the sudden we are expected to stop finding this terrible talent entertaining, and vote for who the judges and 19E entertainment have pre-selected as the winner. The Vote For the Worst philosophy says that American Idol is a joke, but the joke can be on them if we choose. We say "Screw the Man!"

Ya know, for ****s and giggles, I just might do that this year. But, does it really matter? For all we know, the voting is rigged.

I love this show. It will be my new show to watch since all my "old" shows are on hiatus.

Having been through the audition process with AI a few times, I like to watch the auditions.

An article in today's paper said about a dozen people from the Austin auditions were sent to Hollywood.

I haven't watched a season in it's entirety since the first. Since then I've only watched the auditions. After that it's trash. This year however, depending on how bad it really is I may watch the whole season. It just starts to bore me once I get beyond the humor of the auditions.

I'm sure a lot of people know this but I know someone who auditioned and gave me the scoop (I had a feeling about this but wasn't sure). Thousands of people audition before they ever get in front of Paula, Simon, and Randy. These people they audition in front of pick people who are particularly bad to go in front of the official judges strictly for entertainment purposes knowing they will never make it through. The majority of people, good or bad, never make it in front of the official judges.

I'll watch the auditions and that's it. I love the comic relief of the first few eps but then it just becomes the same old sh*t...very difficult to watch. Didn't that country chick win last year? And isn't she boring? Yep.

Woo-hoo! Another season of hilarity. Diss, if you watch this show for its comedic value, there actually is a payoff in the end.

How did yours go, because Derek, the BF, went to Chicago last September for his audition and wasnt very pleased with the whole process.
