It's hard to judge from a 30 second clip, but I actually didn't mind what I heard. I sure hope it's a big hit... more cha-ching for Stevie.

Thanks for posting the clip, Josh.

I actually don't mind it. I like better than I thought I would. I'm interested in hearing the whole thing now.

I don't mind it at all, and I agree any coverage of a Stevie song is good, as long as we don't get the Landslide effect..."OMG! Stevie Nicks is sooo cool! She covered a Dixie Chicks song!"

Thumbs up

I like what I heard of it. Didn't they report that she recorded it with an orchestra, and Stevie also sang? If there was an orchestra, I didn't hear it in that clip. Anyway, it sounded pretty good. Thanks Diss for sharing.

Hm, it doesn't turn me warm or cold either way, so she can release it. At least it isn't awful (although, had it been, wouldn't that have made Stevie look even better? ). I'd hoped it would be awful.

Well, the vocal is not in any way comparable to La Nicks', which is BLISTERING. But, cha ching indeed.

With the right remix, this has the potential of being a big hit at the gay clubs...like Planets was a few years ago.

I actually liked it Of course it's not anywhere near Stevie's and I'm probably going to want to run and find the nearest razor if I hear someone at school talking about what a great song Lindsey Lohan wrote, but hey this should help line Nicks' pockets a little!

Default Just heard Edge cover

This is the perfect example of how with computer assisted production, echo, editing, changing the key, slowing the song down...ANYONE....can sing.

I HOPE STEVIE MAKES MILLIONS IN ROYALTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, hope is spurs young fans to learn who Stevie is and go out and buy Bella Donna.

On another note....anyone have "Hello Its Me...by Todd Rundgren LIVE with Stevie on backing vocals with Darryl Hall and John Oates??...If so...please share?

From what little I've heard, I think it sounds more teen angsty than the hard kickin' Stevie version. But you know, whatever. I didn't think it was awful and I've never had a problem with it to begin with.
