Oh, about the hat - couldn't she just get a more flattering hat? A slightly smaller hat?
Blossom didn't have many left.

LMAO...I thought the same thing when I saw her black hat. Did she borrow that from Blossom?

I cannot believe all the boobage shots up on Getty. Why didn't someone tell her she needed to cover up her nips? No bra is bad enough at her age but to have everything standing at attention...Lordy. (my husband is still gawking at the photos...)

Dress her. I wanna hear.
Thus, my point

But, then again, he goes to see her and falls back in love - I mean do I have to haul out the Boston review

I'm the exact opposite. Back in the day, when she was young and extra sexy, I thought the hat (which she wore without a feather) made her look silly. Today with the big feather and the pants, singing Rock and Roll, it totally suited her as a living legend. But the larger hat she used to wear during the TISL tour was not as nice as the current one. Especially while singing a ballad.

Yer outta yer mind. What planet are you on? It's like the guy who recently posted & said Stevie looked stupid or something onstage in 1978.

She didn't look silly. She looked ultra-cool. I don't become a fan of anyone who looks silly. You fans are as alien to me as a 4-dollar bill.

The stuff she's worn lately, with the possible exception of her get-up on Today and few things on her Gold Dust tour, looks so rote and dull, Frank. Ever since The Dance tour wrapped up (where she wore some really cool ****), it seems as if she's been on a crusade to wear the most matronly garb that Margi can whip up. What would I dress her in? ****, it wouldn't take much effort. Haul out some of her old clothes from back in the day, take them to a seamstress for alterations that would fit her larger figure, and call it a day. That would be something. An outfit that isn't black. Oh my. I splooge just thinking about it.

Are you talkin Top Hat?? Cause the Top Hats were great!!... How could you not love that look?

But I do agree that the TISL hat, although a cool hat on its own, didn't quite fit everything else that was going on... Had she changed to something like the R&R outfit, it could have worked..
