That was Monica Keena-- she was Abby on Dawson's Creek for a while. Got killed in that show too. I just started watching this show more regularly because I haven't been closing on Sunday nights as much so I'm home to watch it.... I think it's great! However, the fact that the girl who plays Izzy was my most unfavorite character on "Roswell"-- and she was called Isabel on that show too--

I LOVE Christina!!!! She was like the only comic relief last night.

She is the original Boobs McPhee(tm TWOP). On Roswell, it wasn't about her acting. It was only about her boobs. It was gross.

Yeah, I was beginning to feel a little sorry for Alex. I'm surprised Christina didn't kick his a$$, though!

I remember you saying so. Still, she's a good actress on this show and I love her in My Father The Hero and she was fabulous bitchy in That Night.

Damn! I missed it. I was so upset that Desparate Housewives was a repeat that I turned the TV off. I love Grey's Anatomy. I LOVE Patrick Dempsey. Yummy.

*bump*

Who watched it last night?

I thought the story line with the older couple was hilarious! Particularly when the husband finally snapped. And when they told him his wife's heart had caught on fire during the surgery, but she would be okay... and he said something to the effect of "This was her fifth open heart surgery, her heart catches on fire, and she survives... nothing will ever kill that monster!"

The fact that Izzy and Yang were selling tickets to the "pregnant guy's" surgery was pretty funny as well. I felt sorry for the guy, though, and am glad Meredith became so protective of him.

I can't decide how I feel about Alex. I'll hate him and think he's a pompous a$$, but then he'll do something that makes me like him. The whole speech he gave the 18-year old patient that had never been kissed (don't remember her name... i'm horrible with names!) was so sweet... and said a world about why he didn't kiss Izzy when they went on their date. Then when he walked into the bar at the end and kissed Izzy... hot!

"McDreamy" didn't look like he was feeling the love for wifey at the end, when she reached out for his hand and he didn't take it. Very awkward! And from the previews, it looks like maybe he and Meredith may be getting back together sooner than I expected. Of course, that could be just a tease.

I hate Alex, but that kiss was hot. Hotttttt. I think I only really watch this show for how much I like Bailey, with McDreamy and George running a close second and third. I liked the crack last night about McDreamy's hair.

I'm still pissed at them for making me cry last week. I only watched it a few days ago- ho,****. Monica Keena was fantastic- I didn't know she was on Dawson's Creek. She was awesome on Undeclared.

I just realized last night that McDreamy reminds me a lot of LB. I was like "his mouth looks familiar" and "who the heck does he remind me of?" as I noticed under his chin and around his jaw was aging a bit. And his thin downward nose, blue eyes.
Yep. Lindsey. He reminded me of Lindsey.

But aside from that - he really doesn't seem to like his wife, much. But - she just said she was moving to Seattle, so he better change his mind quick, or he'll have a debacle on his hands.
It was super lame how she said not to talk to Meredith, though. You know, since they work together.
The guy who looks like yet another chubby son of Patty Duke (I forget his name, the one who's not hooking up with anyone, and who got syphillis) - he bugs. Can he please change his facial expression to make himself look less loser-ish? Quit looking so confused! Get some balls! etc.

She seems to have a scar on her lip or something. I think she's attractive but I really want to see something done with that mousy hair!

Yep. Lindsey. He reminded me of Lindsey.
There was a thread on another board, around the time that Grey's Anatomy first aired, with the topic "who would play the band members in a Fleetwood Mac movie/mini-series". Someone mentioned Patrick Dempsey for Lindsey. At the time, I wasn't watching the show and only remembered him from the 80's teen movies he was in. So I didn't see the resemblence. But now that I'm into the show (and him!) I definitely can see it! It's mostly the dark hair and incredible blue eyes for me!

I like most of the characters on the show, but McDreamy is my favorite (mostly from an aesthetic standpoint!) Bailey does crack me up, as well as George. I also like the Burke/Yang storyline.

I don't know if I've ever watched another show with Monica Keena, but she was great last week. That whole storyline made me cry, too. It was so well done, and so heart breaking. When Bailey stopped the elevator so McDreamy could cry, I about lost it!

Anyone see last night's episode? I loved it! I'm developing a huge geeklove crush on George. What a cutie.

I almost cried when the father that came out of his deep sleep died.
