ROTF LMFAO!! For Stevie to be dead silent there's definitely more to this story. I'm sorry to say this but I think it's completely possible this rumour is true.

What I loved most about this interview with the late Lance Loud was the photo that ran on the next page...it was the one I call "Mary Poppins" where she is holding an umbrella and appears to be floating in an electrical storm!
I always loved that picture...

It is. I had a conversation with Herbert Worthington about this photo (which he hated) and the photo shoot. He told me Stevie was like "isn't this great...it's like the stuff we used to do." He didn't agree.

But they did that shoot specifically for Details.

If that photo was indeed from 1994 there must have been so major re-touching because to my knowledge Stevie was not skinny in 1994 and she looks pretty darn slim in that picture.

I agree. You can tell that it had a very heavy retouching job done to it. Clever actually.

This is the picture I was referring to that looks like it's from the same shoot. This one is labeled LaChapelle. Is it possible these were taken by famed photographer David LaChapelle? I adore his work.

Sometimes rumours just aren't worth dignifying them with a response.
I'm sure Stevie was both disgusted and humiliated that such a rumour existed regarding her.

For the record, I think in a more recent interview (circa 2001) she flat out said it never happened.
