Thanks for posting these, David. The blurriness actually adds to their arty-ness.

But, wow, that stage sure looks awfully big and empty without all of the additional musicians and backing vocalists!

Do you mean, it looks like it SHOULD look? Without the SYW Orchestra!

Heart

I would have loved to have been at those Bowl shows...but I was only 15.
I'm thankful that I got to see them a few weeks before in San Antonio.
17th row...it was an amazing evening...and it solidified my bond with Stevie and her music to this day. That's the power of music...

I wonder what even happened to her?

Your photos aren't really that bad. At least you had a real camera. I only had a Polaroid One Step (remember those? ) and Stevie looked like a little dot in the one photo that I bothered to take back in Providence in 1979. I still think that I have that awesome photo around someplace.

Actually, she wasn't even born yet.

David - I don't care if they're blurry or not, they are great & thanks for sharing them with us!

BTW - For Angel, do you remember if was Stevie wearing a black & sliver shawl? Kind of like the Stand Back cape? Hard to tell in the pic, but it looks similar.

Wow, those photos are about the same angle & distance from where I was sitting...(and the same blurriness, too...many, many, many glasses of vino in the limo on the way to the Bowl...and other "naughties", too. *puff**snort* ) I probably sat next to you and we didn't even know it!

No. That was an Eric Clapton show. Fleetwood Mac were guests. Right Mr. D?

I love telling this. This was one of my trivia questions, I think, wasn't it? Stevie actually wore a pants suit kind of thing one night, & wore her Stand Back cape the other night. Of course, back then it wasn't her Stand Back cape.

Somebody asked me earlier about the pink. Yes, she was in pink the first night, same color she wore throughout a lot of the tour. But on the last night she wore all black -- it was rockin' (because she hadn't worn all black in a long time). It was as if she was saying, "People kept me out of my black with their stupid stories, but this is the last night so I'm wearing black & they can go screw themselves!"

You guys have been nice about my terribly blurry pictures. Now I don't feel bad. I want to post my other blurry pictures from the City of Hope show & Stevie's Irvine Meadows show. But photobucket isn't working.

I didn't know you, but I know it wasn't you! It was some jerk who, during World Turning, kept insisting that it was a very old song by some metal band or something. I told him two or three times, 'No, Fleetwood Mac wrote it.' But I soon grew weary & decided I'd watch the show instead.
