She has that on her DVD. I don't think it's bad. The audience seemed to like it. She was being all flirty with her expressions. Do you remember if she did the whole song at your show? On the DVD she only did part of it.

That was actually her "Parisian" version of it, kind of a spoof. And it was only part of the song.

From what i remember, it was the whole thing... I looked at my friend after it was over and we sorta both shook our heads, as if to say "what the?"

I'll take the original version instead, thanks

Yeah, I would have liked her to do the orginal version too. That was my favorite song for so long in 80's. I didn't know what She Bop meant at that time though lol

Yeah, she only did part of it at the shows I saw and on the boots I have. She puts on a kick-ass show, even took requests. I almost died when someone screamed for Sally's Pigeons and she sang the whole thing acapella.

I remember seeing her with Cher in 1999, and she opened the show with "She Bop"... it was too cool

I saw it and they both were great. That was, I bleieve, the tour where CL walked barefoot into the audience and came up from the floor and around behind the floor where the handicap section was and where I was sitting as the companion of my handicap friend (who is not that bad off) - CL made it a point to sing directly to the really bad off handicap people and it was one of the most touching things I have ever seen. Moreover and though I wanted to, I could not openly weep because I did not want the handicap people to see me and know why - so I just sort of hid it. She is a truly great woman for that.

She comes across as such a sweetie. Though I've heard some real horror stories about her, and I must tell you that her husband is...odd...to say the very least.

Shine is the best; I got goosebumps watching her sing it live going out into the audience. I went to see Cher just to watch Cyndi open up, then left halfway through Cher.

"Sally's Pigeons" tears me up inside every time I hear it.

Great song.

If anyone's near Atlantic City, Cyndi's doing a VH1 Classic concert at the Trump Taj Majal in November (I think.) One of their "music legend sings with new peeps" things. I know Ani DiFranco is going to be there, and more that I can't recall right now.
