Little people getting electrocuted, abusive boyfriends smacking their girlfriends, Phil's huge bulge, and just downright nastiness make that program so special. And then there are people like Joyce and Uchenna that you just can't help but love.

It's the BEST show! I only started watching a few seasons ago but I am hooked. I heard the couple from LA a few seasons ago (the abusive ass and his wife/gf?) were negotiating for their own show. They also appeared on Dr. Phil. I loved hating him. This show brings out the absolute worst in me. But like Diss said, some of them you really care for. When Joyce cut her hair - I lost it.

I loved them so much they made me misty. That show was amazing when she had to shave her head. Imagine if John's wife had to do it, "You look like an egg." I don't know, he would have had something abusive to say.

Even with all of that it never seems to cross the line that most reality shows do and become a voyeuristic sleaze fest. It's still an intelligent show... for the most part. That's what I love about it.

Or the old couple from last season... sometimes I wanted to slap them and was literally yelling at them through the TV screen, but they seemed very sweet and I had to admire their perserverance.

Well, pole smoker, maybe I should check it out. I'm pretty much completely over reality TV now though. There are too many damn reality shows now. I'll stick with Investigative Reports, City Confidential and Cold Case Files!

Why is it your favorite season? I watched the Chip/Reichen and Chip/Kim seasons (wow, I just realized they're both named Chip) on GSN but I was going to stop now that new TV is starting. I just don't have time to watch.
