I'm not trying to be superior. If following rules makes you think that then that's fine.

This board is owned and opperated by two very wonderful people - and they have help from great moderators - is it really too much to ask that we follow their rules and guidlines???

I don't want any hostility directed at me - I'm just stating a rule -a rule that has been brought to everyone's attention.

That's fine, but you cannot deny the condescending tone of your post..."are we 5?"

I can't help but have a problem with members who think they need to tell others what the rules are. That is the job of the mods.

You're right it is. Sorry. But being a member for as long as I have sometimes I feel a little protective. And quite frankly I am sick of people acting like not being able to curse is the worst thing ever. Get over it....and I feel like the blatant disregard of the rules IS childish behaviour.

But you are right - it is not my job to point these things out.

Well I "Roger Maris'ed up my orignal post to not exactly say the F word. But I seriously doubt someone was going to have a fit over me saying that my mother would be the ****ing death of me.

I've been on this board for years and years and no one has ever made a big stink about the f word until just a few weeks ago. I don't know what the big deal is. I've always liked the fact that this board does not censor specific words, to be honest.

Cloves. I go straight for the ultimate damage. I began smoking them cause they are quite strong, and thought because of that it'd help me cut back smoking all together. Nope. I want to stop, but it's the act of doing it.

I agree.

Those of you who feel the need to champion your right to type f**k on the Ledge are making a much bigger deal out of this than the moderators have.
