I'll confess... it is one of my sketches actually. I drew it when I was around 19 years old ("that was a long time ago....").

Didn't want to say that though when I posted it, because I wanted honest criticism.

When I look at it these days, I agree with Amber that her eyes look a bit crossed. I also think her face is too long.
But I like how her hair came out, if that doesn't sound too conceited.

No intentions of selling it though (not sure that anyone would even want it!), but, heck, if those other sketches/paintings of Stevie fetch a pretty penny, I just might reconsider!

Your work is pretty awesome, Carei... very stylish, very unique, and very STEVIE.
Thank you for the sweet comments.... it means alot to me

As for you my friend, don't ever feel bad about being proud of your work! You were quite young at the time, so of course it looks a little strange to you now, I feel the same way when I look at my work from high school, it amazing how much you can develope within a few years. You should keep up with your art because you do have potential! Take a drawing or painting class if you have the time, or just pick up some stuff at an art store & get started again, you just might surprise yourself!

sounds great. And I have printed it to look at in the meantime. Also now I will remember who did it.
Good shoes are very important.

I like the sketch, Brian. The hair is great and her lips are almost perfect. (My favorite Stevie facial feature.)

Awesome
Yeah, i'm a sucker for pumas... they run small, so my size 5 midget foot can get away with a 5 1/2!

ohhh, Pumas always look so cute to me, but I only wear/buy tennis shoes for athletic purposes. Therefore i get Asics Gel. Plus, I have giant feet for my height. 8.5/I'm five three.
Pumas are hella cute, though.

I'm only 5 foot, doesn't it suck to be short?

I wanted the redish ones real bad, but a 6 might be too big (that's pretty sad!), so I got the other ones. Man was it hard to pick! Maybe my foot will grow by Christmas

Johnny Stew, your drawing is great.
Pieterman was supposed to make me a tambourine. I paid for half up front. A year and a half later, no tambourine and no refund.

At one point, she said she'd been sick, which was about eight months ago. I haven't heard from her since. If she's unable to make it, I don't understand why she just doesn't refund my money.

Johnny I LOVE the sketch. You are very, very talented. I wish I could draw! I love your attention to detail. The eyes and hair are amazing. Wow. How long did that take you? Did you use a photo?

Carie - I forgot about those! I love your work. Can you please post some more of your Stevie drawings? They are seriously some of the best I've seen and they have so much character. Very unique, just like Stevie .

Default Style of art.....this is not quite Stevie

This isn't a pic of Stevie .....but as some have expressed a dislike for Johanna Pietermans art what do you think of this style of art?
(Some of you might know this image, even own it. )

I think that is beautiful. Some drawings I see I cannot tell "who" "who" it is supposed to be, this one, I can not only tell it is Stevie, but I know the photo it was drawn from, really gorgeous!~Barbara
