I'm not really sure. Lindsey doesn't seem to have any sense of urgency about his solo career. I think he prefers to hole up in his studio and work. I'm not sure he's even interested that anyone gets to hear it.

I completely agree. I have to say, though, that it's rather unfortunate. He's well aware that he has huge fans out there and I can't believe that after the success and happiness he personally felt when OOTC came out and he toured for it, he just wants to abandon all of that. It's like he was intentionally teasing us with all of that "I started writing again" bull****.

Maybe those songs will get put on movie soundtracks or something.

I mean it makes very little difference to me if Stevie were there that night. She was after all pretty much just a glorified back-up singer. But I think I would have been livid if she weren't there AND then Lindsey performed Frozen Love. That would be like Stevie doing Go Your Own Way at solo show.
No, you are piecing two distinct and separate thoughts together. I would have preferred Lindsey alone and had he been alone I would have picked a different song. But Stevie was there, so given that fact, I would like to have heard all of Frozen Love. It's that simple.

A better option, leak some songs through the Internet to the hardcores again, then he can once again pull that whole "my record label doesn't understand me and my art" schtick in peace.

I would definitely have suggest NO GUESTS. I'd say something like, "Lindsey, your fans have been waiting for years- since the OOTC tour, for you to do something this special alone. You just toured with Fleetwood Mac. Why cut out three additional songs YOUR fans want to hear?"
Huh? Stevie sang on his songs. He cut nothing out.

If not, why not?

2- Did you get to attend the recording of the show?
If your answer is YES, name ONE of your personal highlights of being there LIVE. (No cheating, just one!)

3- If YOU were in charge, would you have suggested that Lindsey NOT have a guest on the show? What would you have said to him?

4- What THREE songs would you have added onto the show if you had "all power."

5- Do you think if this thing sells well Lindsey might get a little braver about doing a. a solo tour; b. a solo album; c. another solo DVD show.

Thank you for your time!
1) No, but I will when I find out it's available here in my country
2) No, too far
3) Just let the music do the talking
4) Tango in the night, the first instrumental introduction on ootc, wrong
5) I hope so

Good choice on Tango. Hey, you live in one of the most beautiful countries in the WORLD! Don't be sad. Thank you for your responses. I have two photos of your country hanging in my home.

Huh? I wasn't there! And I'd still use that in my argument with him. It's such a rare chance to have a Lindsey show and I just think it would have been cool to have it totally Lindsey. I love Stevie, that's not an issue for me. But as I count up the number of solo Lindsey videos or cds I have, it's rather sparse. There's room for BN II later, in my opinion.

Thank you for your answer. I'd love to have a Q&A here on The Penguin with Lindsey and be able to ask him these things directly. Maybe one day. (If we could get him out of the hole!)
