Dear Rocky,

I'm having some serious problems. My mother recently has told me that my real father is not the one I have known all my life, but rather works for the local Honey Glazed Ham store as a butcher. She met him at a Grateful Dead concert apparently. What should I do?

Perhaps this thread was a bad idea. I have visions of him starting to like, and I know I'd never get a word in edgewise.
