sparky reminds me, at my last job we had access to update our personal information in the company online directory. they started with a generic password for everyone, 123 or something. some people didn't bother to change it so we would login as them and put in a "nickname" in that field. we put in "sparky" for our friend Ryan (God rest his soul). it was so funny. well, i guess maybe u had to be there.

ryan was a metal head and he was always smiling and everyone in our department loved him. he was not embarrassed to admit that his favorite music was metal, right down to the cheesiest stuff. he gave me copies of all his stuff and taught me how to rip CDs. his favorite band was van halen. he was killed in that RI fire at The Station.

I hate my screen name. I used the last name of a friend when I chose it. I don't know what I was thinking, it is hideous. I wish there was a way to change it without creating a new account.
