I believe he used to play bass for Ian & Sylvia (a 60's folk duo)...and a couple of other "known" bands. Can't remember off the top of my head, though.

...and one of these days I WILL own my own Model 1 ala Lindsey's Tusk days! Hell, the band I've been playing with for the last 2 yrs is ready to chalk up some cash to help me buy one so I'll stop bitching about NOT having one!!

It's just an example of a dealer that has them in stock and I already knew that, 'cause within max. 2 or 3 years I'm gonna buy one. And are you always so polite ?

The comment was made in a joking but helpful manner. I wasn't being impolite in any way. Do you always get your panties in a wad so easily Jr?

Yes, and btw, it is the most beautiful guitar that I've ever seen or heard.

Yeah I have played one before. They are amazing...it played like a dream. I have been wanting one for some time, but havent been able to set aside that much cash. Rick Turner is pretty good about consignment though...he told me iif I put $500 down then I could pay him monthly payments of $200 until I paid the guitar off. Although, the need for a new car wa7.s more pressing...but eventually I will get one. I think I'd rather have an older model though...maybe one from 1992-97.

Someday, I hope my music room will look like this...

...but, for now, it's "one down & twenty to go"

Here's the "one":

But yours has that really cool darkening around the edge. How do they do that, with stain?

Holy crap Chili you're huge. That guitar looks like a 3/4 guitar strapped on ya! Yeah I want to get my Model one to look like the one Linsey was playing on "The Chain" on the Dance dvd.

Its called a sunburst finish. Rick can custom any top you want when he makes you a model one. I actually was thinking about getting an all-white top on it like the Les Paul customs.

It's just the angle of the photo, I think...I'm not THAT "huge".

It's interesting how the finish looks different depending on the lighting & camera angle...same guitar, but the finish looks completely different.
