What's equally disturbing is that our "Homeland Security" agents at the border confiscated his bloody chainsaw, sword, hatchet, knife and brass knuckles... and then let him enter the country!

That picture was in our local newspaper. I commented on it at work as well. Then wondered if I was gonna have nightmares that night. It baffles me they couldn't find a reason to detain him. I mean the authorities find reasons to detain anyone, even little old ladies. His story is life imitating art, imitating life.

Kids... this is what happens when you do crack.

Isn't there a scene in Bowling For Columbine where Moore tries to get into the US just like this? Can't remember it well..

I never saw that movie, but I did see Farenheit 911. Sounds like something he would have done in that move. That guy is a trip. My first reaction to that news article was that it was some sort of hoax or a test of the "national security system" or something. It just seems very surreal, too Hollywood-like and ultimately very scarey if it is for real. AAAHHHHH!!!

Someone put this guy's mug up on a wall at work and it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Some people just LOOK like murderers.

That movie scared the piss out of me. I rented it based on your recommendation, Diss, and you were NOT wrong. It was white knuckle, edge-of-your-seat scary.

Why didn't Border Patrol check for outstanding warrants the first time? They even said that this guy was highly suspicious enough.

not that i remember, i remember him opening a bank account & they gave him a rifle for doing so & i remember him in canada where they say it is less violent & how canadians have as many guns as americans but their murder rate is miniscule compared to ours~ not only the columbine stuff that is in that movie is chilling but they stuff they show about our govt, saying how we gave osama money & weapons at 1 point, also how we gave the taliban money & weapons 2 fight northern afghanistan (*Sp), now they're r being used against us~ there was also another part where a semmingly normal kid wearing what seems 2 b a normal pair of jeans & a polo type pull-over, has like 20 weapons including a shotgun/rifle hidden on him~ very sad but truthful chilling movie~

KAREN BLACK ROCKS! I love her. Ever seen Burnt Offerings with her, Bette Davis, and Oliver Reed? That's one scary movie and the ending is horrifying. Check it out.
