Pittsburgh 7th row on TM now - Page 2

So the pitt at the Post Gazette has 5 rows. I think it goes A, B, BB, C, CC and then D. So row D is 6th row. Yeah I keep pulling up section 2 row p but at least they have center seats now. If I find anything in row d or e I am goingtto buy them. (Unless it is front row)

The bad thing about the pitt is that the rows are at least 40 seats or so long. So if you are in the middle and you have to pee then it takes forever to get out. Of course if you have front row then you dont have to worry about that!

Ok so how do I put this, the pitt goes across all 3 sections. So row d is the first row behind the pitt but the pitt is in sections 1, 2 and 3. So if you have row d in either section 1, 2, or 3 then you are in 6th row.

The only reason I know all of this is because I go to the post gazette all the time so I know the layout of the place by heart.

I was under the impression that the Pit seats there were AA, BB, CC, DD, and EE... and then the regular section starts with A, B, C, etc...

Not at Post Gazette. They have like row PCC and Row CC....It's confusing.

You dont suck at all. For some stupid reason the post gazette numbers the first five rows like this: A, B, BB, C, CC. I think that ticketmaster lists them as PB, PC or PCC to show that they are pitt tickets.

The pitt always had 4 rows and then they changed it to 5 rows last year. I dont know why they did that because now it is even more confusing.

Yeah. I haven't been there since TISL. Mellon Arena is so much better and less confusing....and in the heart of the city.

I agree in the fact that Mellon Arena is much better and close to my house. I live in the south side so it literally takes me 5 minutes to get to Mellon Arena. The layout there is so much better too. Not a bad seat in that place. (well not bad unless you are in section f)! I only like the Post Gazette if I am sitting within the first 10 rows. Otherwise, the seats suck and it takes me at least 30-40 minutes to get there. I dont understand why they would put that place in the middle of nowhere. Also it takes forever to get home with all of the traffic. If a show ends at 11:00, it is usually 1:00 or 2:00 before I get to my house. What a bunch of crap.

I am going to Mellon Arena tonight to see Sarah Mclachlan. I cant wait because she puts on a great show.

hmmm... i've only been there once.. for the TISL tour.. i had 4th row Pit seats.. i still have the ticket stub somewhere, but i can't remember off the top of my head what the row letter was.... but wait, didn't you pull up 4th row Pit seats the other day?? what was the letter? DD? PDD? PDDD?
