For me it's the voice and the simple fact that I don't find him attractive. I went to see that horrid U-571 movie because lovely Jake Weber was in it and McConaughy just bugged the **** out of me. Haven't liked him since. I did like him in A Time To Kill, though.

I liked him best naked playing conga drums.

That voice is part of what does it for me. I imagine he would be a very naughty boy, I like 'em dirty, so.....ummm......I gotta go....

Here's one I'll never explain:

Joe Montana, former quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. I have never given a damn about football and was too young then (probably around five or so) to even understand the rules anyway. But for some reason, whenever he was on tv I was glued to the set.

You know I've got it bad when his role in Dazed & Confused turns me on.

WAIT! John Schneider (that's right, Bo Duke) may have been before Daniel-san. Of course, I was around 6 at the time, so I don't know if that one counts.

LOL! That was my little sister's first crush. She would kill me if she knew I was posting this on a public message board, but she actually kissed the TV screen once when he was on! I've never let her live that down. (In her defense, she was only 7).

My earliest crush that I can remember is Michelle Pfeiffer because of Batman Returns.

Kevin Costner. I was 11 and watched Robin Hood nearly every day.

I had a crush on him when I was about that age too. I used to have Costner-moviethons. I'd gather all of his movies that I had - Robin Hood, Dances with Wolves, Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, Silverado - and watch them back to back. Took all damn day too 'cause his movies are all like 3 hours long, I swear it.
After the Costner phase came the Kurt Cobain phase, which I'll never explain either.
Nowadays it's Lindsey Buckingham, and a host of other men including Joaquin Phoenix, Johnny Depp, Russell Crowe (although that crush is dying out a bit), Rob Thomas (he looks so hot in "Lonely No More"), Hal Sparks and Gale Harold (of Queer as Folk), Patrick Dempsey, Olivier Martinez, Matthew McCaughnahey (spelling?) and a few others I can't seem to think of at the moment. No chick crushes at the moment, though Alicia Keys looks pretty good in her video for "Karma" but I don't exactly stop everything I'm doing and glue myself to the tv when she's on like I do to the men on my list. I swear I'm a closet hetero.

OMG - I had SO many celebrity crushes as a kid - I'm trying to pinpoint the first....it's hard but I think I've narrowed it to

Davy Jones

My sister was a big Monkees fan - so I would watch the show when she would and I had SUCH a big crush on Davy - my sister's best friend had a sister my age and we used to pretend Davy was our boyfriend

Imagine my shock and dismay to find out that the Monkees was an old show and Davy was actually older - I was so crushed

Others:

*Tom Hanks - I think I was the only girl in the seventh grade with his picture all over my wall (this was pre-Forrest Gump - like Big era)
*Fred Savage - I loved him...I was sad when I recently found out he's gotten married...well there goes my chance with him

I adored Fred Savage. Did you ever see his short-lived series "Working?" I tuned in a couple of times and was disappointed he wasn't that cute anymore.

The same thing happened to me, although I preferred Mickey. I've always gone for the funny ones.
