ledgie cleaning habits

I can't stand mess.

My clothes must all be put away, dishes must be done, floor must be swept, everything must be dust free.

BUT when I work alot, I tend to get behind. I sometimes will do like 60 hours in 5 days and then I will not be so anal, but for the most part, I am a clean freak.

Just do it! I've been cleaning periodically for the last few hours and I think I'm pretty much done. I have two small piles of receipts and crap that I have to go through but really! Don't you think buying some new jeans or something would be a better use of my time? I think I might just go do that!

That's really good. I can't imagine how much less free time I would have to goof off, record myself singing, lay in bed reading and eating cheetos, and talking on the ledge, if I cleaned that much. It boggles my little mind...

I will, I will - I have to get a haircut first, today, though, and lay out in the sun. heck, I just did a giant cleaning three weeks ago!! WILL IT NEVER BE ENOUGH!!!?? Why can't things just stay clean? yeah, get some new jeans, that way, you can talk to more hotties, cause you'll be wearing some kick ass "talk to hotties" jeans.

I'm in the above average category - I used to be totally OCD about it - but I've eased up....

Still I clean (vaccuum, scrubbing bubbles etc) at least once a week - I've been having to vaccuum more because Clancy is shedding like CRAZY - everything I own has dog hair on/in it...I take my lunch to work...I'll find several dog hairs in it lol....they're everywhere!!!!!

I'm the same! When I'm working like a jack ass, my apartment tends to get a little gross. Sometimes I can't focus on work until I at least sweep my floors. Hardwood can be really disgusting, but at least it tells you when you gotta clean it. Your floor's all like "uh, can't you see how disgusting I am? I know you can! I mean look at me! I'm hideous!!!"

You sure do, especially as you are better looking than average. Hey, I actually have some of that in my closet, want me to bring it to Vegas??? I believe I have 2 or 3 fistfuls left, in fact!!!

I fall into the "If I don't keep my place immaculate, I GO INSANE!" category. I can't even sleep if there's a rooms that's messy.

I blame it all on my mother though. She was extremely particular with things being clean, and I was usually the one to do it. She would even have me iron sheets and towels

I love vacuuming--hate dusting with a passion. I really should clean today but I honestly don't feel like it. I dust all the time and it seems as though it comes back within a week.

For some reason, when I get upset, I want to clean hardcore. Anyone else strange like me and do that?

I definitely do that. Sometimes I don't even relise I'm doing it. I'll be pissed off, the POOF! my house is spotless.

I got in a huge fight with my BF when he got back from England last night, and my house is looking fab right now.

Sometimes, but in those cases I'm usually specifically pissed off at the mess. Sesly. I have to do something, cause my apartment is small, and I get all pissed off when I have no floor space to do yoga or jumprope, and when I go to find clothes in the morning and they're all in piles. THEN I REALLY GET MAD!!! I never really dust, though, or at least very intermittently. I vacuum lots. Cat hair and yoga, not a fan of it.

Ah, so it's not just my gay boy? Whew, that's a relief! He cleans a lot of surfaces with rubbing alcohol or ammonia. Spotless!

I'm usually pretty clean. Clutter makes me stressed, so I try to pick up frequently. I clean the bathroom & kitchen, husband does the dusting & vacuuming. I try to do my stuff once a week, and I try to get HIM to do his that often, but I hate nagging. We split laundry & the dishwasher, so that's not a problem.

My house is still a disaster from remodeling, so right now I am a little on edge since everything's all over the place. Hopefully I can get things back to normal this week.
