Me neither? Is it a "southern" thing? 'Cause I've never seen one down here!

It must be a southern thing. We have them here in Fort Worth, Texas and we had one in Morrilton, Arkansas.

We had this new teacher from Missouri in our middle school a couple years ago and when a kid asked to go to the bubbler she promtly replied, "Just what are you going to do there?" She had no clue.

I love Massachusetts.

45% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category.

And we have drive-thru liquor stops in New Mexico...we call them drive-thrus so I didn't know how to answer that one

the genealogy on my Mother's side of the family includes one General Robert E.Lee as a family member (I prefer my Father's side of the family, Which includes both Erik the Red & the Queen of Prussia as our ancestors!!!)...So I guess we all are related, Cousin!

Bubbler.
How retarded.

Just kidding. It does seem strange, of course, though.

Something we will NEVER see here in PA. Good lord - the government here has a tight restriction on all alcohol sales. There was just a big battle over opening a small percentage of state liquor stores on Sundays (in the past there was only sales of six packs in restarants on Sundays). Beer must be bought at beer distributors (or restaurants that sell 6 packs) and all liquor must be bought at a "state store". No grocery stores or 7-11s here that sell anything alcoholic.

some many drunken asshats/asstards/f**ktards reside in Oklahoma..."Let the government dictate tobacco sales here in OK but leave our mutha#$%^ing beer/liquor alone, Cause the Bible shows evidence that even Jesus loved to down some alcohol...Thus alcohol is more acceptable"

I thought that only Rhode Islanders called them 'bubblas'. Mass people always make fun of us. My photography instructor is from Boston and he said that he never heard of a 'bubbla' until he came to RI.
