In. Vegas. They're going to want the Stand Back, Edge of Seventeen, Landslide, etc. so i'm thinking the songs she plays will be pretty much the same as when she played the Millenium show with a song or two from TISL thrown in for good measure. And if she's getting the kind of money that I suspect she is for four nights in Vegas, she's going to be playing what they want her to and not what she might like to play.
I'd love it if she did Beautiful Child and I wouldn't be suprised if she did that song in Vegas.

I don't care what she does, since I've never seen her from the front row. *there better be front row available* I don't think she'll tour much more, cause of her age and all, so I gotta see from up close, ya know?

Really? I see her touring a lot in the near future. I think she really enjoys it, regardless of her age.

yeah, she does enjoy it - I'm sure she'll still do as much as she can while she can still walk... She'll be 57 in May, though - I just want to see her as much as possible as soon as possible - after all, tomorrow is not promised to us, right?

I agree with both of you, so this means bad news for fans spoiled by the Fleetwood Mac tour. If you're killing yourself to get front row or near stage seats, expect to have everyone in the auditorium yelling at you to sit down during the show. Just like at the Aladdin during TISL, the Vegas crowd won't be there to "rock out." Most will be there for the hell of it. They'll be on vacation. If they have money they'll go just to get some entertainment. This means the set list will likely be safe and generic. The crowd will be expecting a lounge act not a rock concert. This won't be like the Mac tour except the shows at the Indian casion where nobody had any fun because everyone had to stay seated. Go if you want to see Stevie, but don't expect the atmosphere of Fleetwood Mac. It won't be like that.

Ah yes... the Aladdin for TISL. I was yelled at for standing as well as having stuff thrown at me. And then there were the high rollers in the Golden Circle who were leaving just as Edge of Seventeen was getting started.

Sounds like a blast

Hmmm...if casino shows are as lame as everyone says, it makes me feel better that I can't go.

On the other hand, the Atlantic City Borgata show in September was a great show and everyone stood up in the front row rocked out and sang along (Stevie even mention how we were practically drowning her voice out during Landslide!) But that was an outdoor ampitheatre and it had a rock and roll feel because it was outside, and not in a "lounge" environment. I was front row for that show so I really didn't see what was going on- I didn't look back the whole night- my eyes were glued to Stevie!

I guess my point is that not all casino shows are a bust. Did anyone else go to the Borgata concert? It was amazing! Stevie was on fire and it was not reserved at all- it was a rock concert!

I hope they do the same thing here, and I will then snatch their seats. Shortly after, security will escort me out....

Yeah, the AC crowd was rockin'!

So was the MGM crowd in Vegas in Oct. 2003. The MGM arena is also big, like most other arenas anywhere else.

Chumash was different because it was an Indian Reservation casino, w/ their own customs, including standing being considered rude and disrespectful toward their chief, right? I seem to remember something about that - and the band being told before the show not to take it personally that the crowd would remain seated.....

The thing w/ places like the Aladdin and Caesar's is that these are NICE theaters, with carpeting and plush, velvet comfy seats. I thought the crowd at the 2nd nite at the Aladdin was more into it, and tolerated "standers" more than the first nite - Pip, would you agree?

I was thinking this may be the case this time too. We'll see. I don't really care, to be honest. I just want to see this woman & hear her sing agin. If I have to sit, I'll sit & sing really loudly & chair dance with Amber & Theresa.

And nobody - NOBODY - is going to stop me from trying to get up to the stage for Edge. Oh wait, everyone will probably be gone by then, right? I can only hope. I've already been manhandled by security (hello Toronto ) so I'm used to it.

"sing really loud" YES!!!! Chair dancing sucks, but so does my dancing, so perhaps that will be best for everyone....
