Jeter's a peter eater.

Somehow I missed this thread! How can you like him when he plays like a weenie? He whacked the ball out of the first baseman's glove and then shrugged at the ump like, "What's wrong with that?" Idiot. Of course I'm completely biased as a Sox fan. Eww. We don't care for him much 'round these parts.

that was A-Rod would wacked the ball outta of the first baseman's mit...If it would have been Bill Buckner at first, Well we know he never would have had the ball to tag A-Rod in the first place

Oh yeah! I stand corrected. Sorry about that. Now take your poop somewhere else!

BTW, who the hell lets a nickname like A-Rod stick?

A-Hog sucks anyways, Anywhere he has played has immediately started to suck, So I call him "Hoover" (As in Hoover Vacuums)

Thank GOD he left the Texas Rangers and went to suck elsewhere (Kinda funny how great the Rangers were this past season) but I do have to thank "Hoover" for one thing...Because of the BoSox (Enjoy yer championship boston, It will be probably another 90 years before ya see one again ) wanting A-Rod so bad in late 2003/early 2004 the BoSox management burnt the bridges of one Mr.Mia Hamm by the name of Nomar, Who now resides at the BEST play to play baseball-Chicago's Wrigley Field, Home of my beloved Cubs.

Brian "I still poop on the BoSox & Yanks...And flame the holy **** out of the OVERRATED Braves, The chokers of the decade of the 90's" j.

Official name is TD Banknorth Garden. This is nice cuz our old venue was the Boston Garden so at least we can call it the garden again. Although I actually had gotten used to "the fleet center". I don't think it was ever called the Jeter center, not even for a day.

This made me think of when Dick Clark was introducing the band during NYE. He said "from the appropriately named Fleetwood Center....Fleetwood Mac!" At least it was named after the band for a quick second.

Hmm. "And here's Stevie's aptly titled song, 'Running through the Garden'". I couldn't think of any band names with garden in them. Oh wait, Soundgarden. Nah, Stevie's song works better.
