I've always wondered how the right-hand vs. left-hand drive situations evolved... Is it possible right-hand drive became more popular for the reason you suggested, since a majority of the population is right-handed???

The weirdest thing I ever saw was in the U.S. Virgin Islands when I was there in the '80s. Since they used to be a British colony, they still used the right-hand drive (British) system, only with LEFT-hand drive (American) cars. I was only there for a week, yet I saw a major traffic accident every single day.

And cute ride, Pip! Congrats!!!

I've always wanted to drive on the left side of the road. It would be odd. And, I wouldn't know how to drive if the stick was on the left. I would be one of the ones in an accident, because of stupidity.

Nice car, Pip! You'll look great ridin' around in it.

Hey everybody. I'm busy preparing for upcoming Trujillo presentation, but my Mom couldn't bear for this thread to be here without me bragging about her aquarius blue convertible beetle with the violets in it. She is a proud mom like Pip.
